Below is a little DIY guide to crafting yourself a paper garland for Christmas.

The garland is inspired by Scotland’s (and other Celtic nations) old winter tradition of bringing nature into the home. This symbolised life on dark nights, cleared the air and warded off the evils of winter. 

Materials + Equipment

Basic Foliage

Simple shapes

Add holes!

String together!
