Studio Tour

A little peak around my home studio where I work and try not get distracted by my lovely cat :)

I put loads of old originals on the wall to give me a bit of inspiration and also find another use for them !

Some things I use on the daily to make my work - I love caran d ache wax pastels for adding little hand drawn details on my illustrations. Also love the little primary school glue spreaders, so handy !

These little fishing boxes were mostly found after the storms that hit the west coast early on in the year. I found all of these on the shore near my flat, I actually have a lot more of them and I really had to restrain myself from taking more. I love the bright colours and they are the perfect size for holding lots of different bits of paper! (don’t tell any fisherman)

My little cat called Fizz who loves sitting at the window above my desk where she gets a lot of pats and can watch the world go by…

Some books I refer to a lot while designing, have a big pile more but they definitley don’t fit in this tiny wee room !

I have built up quite the collection of postcards over the years, I do try and switch them up so they all get a turn once in a while, but these are my favourites so far.

What my desk usually looks like - papery colourful chaos

Surrounded by all my wee things :)

Thanks for looking round the studio with me,

K x
